Something of a contrarian and late bloomer, Peter didn't feel ready to go to college when everyone else did: he waited until he was 30, and had a lot of life experience already. Having already been a photographer, computer technician, bike messenger and bike mechanic, Peter finally found himself at home when he started volunteering at the Exploratorium in San Francisco.
Since deciding to pursue traditional education, Peter has excelled in every class he has attempted, but especially so in Engineering and Computer Programming courses. He is in love with learning, understanding and "the pleasure of finding things out".
He was recently described as a "Chronic Lifelong Learner" during a performance review.
